Controlled Residential Smoke/Fire Detector System

The goal of this PIC microcontroller project is to design a Controlled Residential Smoke/Fire Detector System. The system should be capable of detecting and identifying zone in which an alarm has been set using PIC16F877A microcontroller. The user would like to be able to view messages related to the alarm as well as to control the systems response. That is, input whether the alarm should be silenced or all zones should be activated, etc.

Furthermore, if the alarm will activate, the system would send a text message to the Fire Department Control unit (optional). Therefore, there would be no monthly fees for servicing. Customer would purchase the system and install it., build and assemble the project in the following video
